Arrival Story:
April 16, 2009, this pregnant female was scheduled for euthanasia in a small Animal Control facility in Georgia. When they came for her, she was giving birth on the floor of her pen. She was given a short reprieve and one more day to be rescued. We heard about her that Friday morning. As a foster for Rotts 'n' Pups (rottsnpupsrescue.org), we pulled her and her nine newborn puppies. Aside from fleas and tapeworms, she seems to be doing fine. We will foster her for two months and the family will be available for adoption. **UPDATE: Anja and puppies are now in adoptive homes. They now have families!**
