Arrival Story:
As I was driving down a 70 MPH highway in the country, I saw a black lab running towards my direction right in the middle of the road. I pulled over & he immediatly ran up to my car. Since he reminded me of my childhood dog, Tish, I couldn't leave him there. He had obviously been on his own for a while, as he was without a collar, and so skinny that you could see all of his ribs and hip bones. I took him to the local shelter but they weren't open yet, so I drove to work with him riding in the seat beside me like he belonged there. I called the vets and shelter, and nobody had reported a missing lab, so I decided to keep him.

Bio:
When I first picked Bo up on the road, he weighed 40 lbs (very skinny!!). Now, 2 years later, he weighs 81 lbs! He also had heartworms, which we were able to get cleared up by giving him Heartguard. He has grown into himself, and is a very handsome fella if I may say so! Also, he was evidently abused before I found him, but he has learned to trust me 100%. He was an outside dog until recently-Lexi, the Rottie, was a very jealous pup & did not like sharing her mom with Mr. Bo Dog. They were OK outside together but she did not want him inside at all. Because of her age & his size, I didn't want to chance any injuries. After she left for the great Rottie Heaven, Bo finally got to become an inside puppy. A very strange thing occurred & to me, it is proof that Lexi still is here running the house from the great beyond: Lexi's bed was in one area of my living room & you cannot bribe Bo to come into that area! He will stop at a certain point & he refuses to go into that corner of the room! So, I guess Lexi is in her bed telling Bo Dog that she is still Queen of this house & to stay out of her spot! Recently, Bo got a new baby sis named Molly & they are having a 'ball' playing together (BOL!). Bo cannot stand for me to be out of his sight-I should have called him Shadow or Velcro!!

You Are Lively and Courageous

You are full of energy. You are spirited and boisterous.
You are bold and daring. You are willing to do some pretty outrageous things.
Your high energy sometimes gets you in trouble. You can have a pretty bad temper at times.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

True, very true...except for the whole bad temper thing! I'm very well mannered-you can ask Mom if you don't believe me!
