Arrival Story: Mummy found me living on a farm with my mother and sister when I was 8 weeks old. My parents are working sheepdogs.
Mummy wanted to bring up her own puppy & to do sports with it. A BC was top of her list. Mummy's friend told her about a litter being advertised. She rang the number & went to visit the next day. I picked Mummy when I licked her hand so she wrapped me in a blanket on her knee & we went home.

Bio: Hi, I am Gyspy. Your classic working line Border Collie/Working Sheep Dog. Although I'm slightly unusual as I have very little black on me - the only black I have is found on my face and ears. The rest of me is white. Bol. Mummy has always loved mismarked BC's, espically white ones so when she found me, she knew it was fate.

Oh but I do love mud. It's great fun to roll and roll in a really muddy patch of grass.
So it was wet but we still had a little go flyball. I was only meant to be doing un-netted recalls over the jumps today. But when Mummy was taking me back down the jumps I decided to go ahead of her and do it myself.
So we started trying to do full runs. I was running up and down the jumps quite happily without any netting. I did go around the jumps a few times but overall it was good. There is supposed to be something I have to do inbetween the jumping but I forget what that is. Mummy said something about practising fetching balls on the field.
I'm also starting to trust the other people more and they were holding my harness. I think treats helped. *drool* I was even doing my "hide your face" trick for them when they asked my to sit. Very surprising but I got some "awwww"'s, and more treats, so it's all good.
The thing Mummy likes the most is the play sessions before and after training when all the dogs get to run around. It is helping to get me more confident around other dogs.
At the moment I am training on my own but eventually I will be running in a team as I've gotta get used to the other dogs.
I Love it. Like, LOVE it! Can we go do it again, pawlease?!
I only had one go as it was my first time and I did a full run back over four jumps (set very very low) with no netting. It was awesome. We got some good comments on my "tuggy" motivation.
I've not tried the box or fetching balls yet as we had to go early - we were there for two hours already!
But...I also got to play with another. As some of you know, I can get very nervious of strange dogs. The other people were very understanding of this and there are a few other nervious dogs in the club. When we got there, there was one loose dog, belonging to the captain, who I was quite fearful of. The captain told Mummy to let me off lead, and I had a little play. I was still nervious and didn't approach him completly and kept running up to Mummy but it was play, neverless.
Oh, and there is another white BC there. He's 10 years old and is completely white apart from a few back speckles on his back.
