Bradley has graduated from obedience training but listens when he feels like it. He has been giving a lot of paw lately.

Arrival Story:
I met Bradley on Thanksgiving weekend. All the other dogs at the shelter were jumping up and down vying for attention but Bradley had a cold and was just lying low, minding his own business so I thought he was a sedate lovable little bear and once I held him I couldn't put him down. Bradley had more than a cold, he had kennel cough that turned into pneumonia and since he was already underweight it was scary there for a while, but he is so much better now and unbelievably energetic and always wants to play. He looks exactly like a cross between a teddy bear and an Ewok. Bradley is five months old now and he still looks like a teddy bear. He is seven months old now and gets more and more gorgeous. People stop their cars to ask about him.

Bio:
Bradley has black spots on his tongue that are getting larger everyday signalling the chow dominance. At seven months his tongue is almost completely black. His nose is getting longer and his ears are floppy we are now pretty sure that he is a chow shepard mix with a beautiful fluffy red chow coat that just makes him squeezable. He is a crazy puppy. He is in the biting stage and doesn't like to hear the word no. Two months later he is still not out of the biting stage. Puppy boot camp here we come. Puppy training is helping alot but he still thinks he is a 10 pound puppy as he charges and tries to bite us. Still mouthing us but only when he is being bratty.

Where is Fall? I want dried leaves and pumpkins. I want Pilgrims and cool breezes. Mostly I want the summer to be OVER.

Summer

Its very hot and I am very furry. Not a great combination but thank god for air conditioning. I love to run around and get splashed when my family is in the pool but I HATE when they try to get me to come in with them. I have destroyed, a float, two volleyballs, two wiffle balls, a regular soft ball, assorted birdies and four window screens (well who told you to leave me alone for forty minutes). Summer is fun but I still like Winter better.

Escape

So I have been really bored lately. I mean how much playing, walking, eating and napping can a dog do? Its monotonous. I want to shake things up. We need some spice in our lives. So I escape. I have experienced the sweet smell of freedom twice now. Its pretty funny actually. I run out after biting someone to get past and then everyone screams. I just want to play chase. So I chose the street to do it on? Live a little people. Its called fun. I end up running inside to follow them in anyway so I don't know why they are crying. My family is very dramatic.
