Arrival Story:
Tigger came to us at the age of 10 weeks. He was found as a stray who then was taken to a vet in town. The vet said he had rabies and let him sit in a urine soaked crate for hours until animal control came to pick him up. Animal control knew he didn't have rabies,but knew something was wrong;vet after vet in town turned them down to do blood work. One vet said "he is food aggressive and blind, he will never get better. Put him to sleep" That night, friday,he came to my house as a foster to see what would happen. Monday rolled around and the decision was made he was going to stay with us.
Bio:
Tigger is a very special dog. He is a wolfdog with brain damage due to being hit or kicked in the head when he was tiny. Tigger has been a challenge to live with; he is food aggressive, fear aggressive, and is quick to anger. Tig has taught me more than any other dog, and has shown me what living in the moment is all about.
