Arrival Story:
Alec was discovered in the paper to be a playmate to Emma. I was looking for something very specific, a submissive poodle male, similar in size to Emma. Someone about forty miles away had a boy poodle in the paper, so we went to check him out. Looking back, I'm sure they were BYB's, but Alec was not chosen as a puppy, so then I just saw the people we got him from as people who wanted less dogs.

Bio:
The name he came with was Scooter. Well, I am not a "Scooter" person and he is not a "Scooter" dog. No wonder he was so skinny and unhappy. We changed it to Alec (Alec Ramsey from The Black Stallion books) He was so skinny when he came home that I could put two fingers between his hip bones on his rump. It took months to get enough weight on him to neuter him. He's truly a sweet heart. Very mellow and cuddly. He puts up with mom picking on him and loving on him.
