I lost my 16 year-old Staffie to cancer and 36 hours later I was *on the hunt* for a new dog. I knew I wanted something larger, and I knew I wasn't emotionally prepared to wait six months to year . . . I fell in love with Clancy's photo while surfing PuppyFind.com and then saw that he was only 20 minutes from my house! Two days later he was mine . . .
Clancy was born in Hayward, CA. His mom, Cassidy, is a dainty 110lb girl. His dad, Kane, one the other hand, is a bruising 190lb (yeah, he's really HUGE). It was a large litter (13 puppies) and all of them were reverse brindles. After Clancy came home with me, my best friend and her husband decided they had to have one (Tallulah) and then my sister was offered the last pup in the litter (Slag). We love getting Cerberus (as we call the triumvirate) together as often as we can. There's just something about being out with that much mastiff all at once that's pure comedy.
I'm gonna sing the Doom Song now . . .
