Arrival Story:
I wanted a dog really bad, I even rented an apartment specifically because they'd let us have a dog. Four days before we were set to move in (June 26, 2003) I was at the humane society and a new dog came in. Naturally I was curious to see the new comer, so before my friend even had closed the gate I was in Emma's kennel. She was sooo scared! Shaking like you wouldn't believe and terrified. I bent down to her level and she stood up on her hind paws, put her front paws on my shoulder, and put her head by my neck. How can you say no to that?! I picked her up and she didn't leave my lap until later that day, when I put her down to fill out that application!
