I'm not a weasel.....I'm a sea otter!!

Mommy and Joe took us to Lake Berryessa for Memorial Day, and man was it fun! By the time we got up there and hiked to our spot oh boy was it HOT!! Mommy found a spot in the shade for us to relax, then she decided to go in the water to cool off. Mommy didn't think we would go in the water cause we hate our baths, but me and Ralph though Mommy was gonna leave us!!!! We sprang into action and me and Ralphie swam out to Mommy, swimming across what we felt like was a 100 miles (I was no more than 10 feet away from the shore). We finally reached Mommy she grabbed us and held us. The water felt REALLY good, and we got to soak while Mommy held us so we didn't have to swim.....although I'm a pretty brave little water weasel!

I'm a BIRD DOG!!!

Oh man I can't believe what I saw Peaches do the other day! We took all the dogs to a bbq and since they all have pretty good recall we let them wander around a bit. Well Peaches was standing next to me and all of a sudden she happened to notice the flock of blackbirds about 20 feet away. I saw her looking at them, and I asked her...."Peaches....do you want to get the birds?" She puffed up like you wouldn't believe and started growling and pacing back and forth. So then I yelled "Peaches get the BIRDS!" Oh my dogness she took off like a freakin' sighthound bounding through the grass....and tried to chase the birds as they where flying away! I have never seen her run so fast or stretch out so much when she ran...I was cracking up and so was everyone else. To see a little Chi trying so hard to catch birds was hilarious! Now before anyone chews me out for letting my dogs run around in an un-enclosed space...let me say this...my dogs never go very far from me because they are all OBSESSED with me and my boyfriend, we were super far away from any roads, and the second I call them they all come instantly, just like Peaches did even though she was chasing her "prey" the second I called her name she came bounding back. It was just awesome to see her run around like that YAY!!!

Mommy is a new manager at a doggie daycare!!!!

We are all so excited for mommy!!!! And we get to go to work with her!!! If any playful pups need a great doggie day care, come on down to Howdy Pup! in Emeryville, Ca!!

Peaches, Molly and Ralph

Very very sad.....

Mommy just took us all to the vet yesterday, and got some very bad new about my doggie siblings, Molly and Ralph. My little sister Molly has demo mange, which means she inherited it from her doggie mom, and our mommy was told there is not cure, that you just have to keep treating it when outbreaks occur. Then Ralph, my brother and constant companion needs alot of his teeth pulled (even though mommy brushes our teeth every other day) and he also has luxating patellas (which means his kneecaps pop out of place and rub his bone, and causes athritis). Mommy is very sad, because normally she could afford to get the treatments done, but we're all moving, and mommy doesn't have the extra money right now. Mommy's looking for a second job so she can get us all taken care of asap, but that means she'll have less time to spend with us.......
