He just wants to be a normal 3 year old boy, but we don't know if he will ever get back to that. He sways like a sailor when he walks and alternates one back leg then the other. He can go outside now by himself through the doggie door and manage three steps, but I think he may need a ramp. He now keeps up with his kitties, Andy Boy, Greyc, and Zafer. They alternately tease eachother and gives a little chase every once and a while. He has resumed barking at passer bys at the fence, on of his favorite past times. He smiles all the time, takes naps with me and now positions himself for me to pick him up when I go up the stairs to the second floor. He seems to be enjoying life, but I know he wants to run and play more. He is a great guy, full of love and caring..he is always in my lap or someones. Once he meets someone he is forever their friend, he never forgets anyone. His ears perk up when family comes home, listening for the right car engine or door slam. He surely seems to know his cars from everyone elses in the neighborhood. If you want to check up on his whole story, go to a great website a friend of mine living in Paris put together. It is localroutes.co.uk/helpvinci Sign in and guess his breed. We don't know, so your guess is welcome.

Vinci was less depressed today, more himself. I even got a couple of kisses! No movement yet in his back legs, He seems to be in much less pain. The catheter has been removed and his iv. He is now off iv pain medicine and on to pills which he will only take with peanut butter. I visit him every day though it is a long drive. I miss him so much and can hardly wait until he can home.
