Arrival Story:
My husband and I wanted a Bernese Mountain Dog friend for our Golden Retriever. After searching breeders for a puppy, we found a breeder who just had this beautiful 8 month old girl returned because the "girlfriend" thought she was too hairy and big. Whatever. So I drove to CT and met "Lacca" as she was named and it was love at first sight. I brought her home that night and she met her friend August Rose and the rest is history. How anyone could give this dog up is beyond me. We love her with all our heart. She has a heart as big as the world and makes us smile everyday. We love her so much we got another Berner from the same breeder. Baby Kiawa who is now 2 years old and her and Lakota have the same Mommy, so they truly are sisters and love to cuddle on the couch together. Best move we ever made, bringing this big beautiful girl into our home, her fuzzy sisters agree.
