Whoa (MUST READ).

Today..was..TERRIFYING!

For a while now, we've been hearing bees chewing through our ceiling but always thought "they can't get in." Well we..were wrong. It was about 2pm and mommy was on the phone with her friend from high school. Ashley was cleaning her room, Janelle was watching tv in the living room, and nana came up to say hi. Me? I was in my crate (yes, I love my crate..actually, I don't have to use it anymore but I chose to because I feel so safe and comfortable in it).

Anywho, nana came upstairs and saw a bee on the window. She didn't know if it was inside or out. She saw it was on the inside and went to kill it when she saw another one right beside it. Mommy came out into the living room and happened to look up. She saw bees coming down from the ceiling and hung up with her friend quick. Ashley grabbed Janelle's hand and took her outside. She had Janelle sit in the driveway while she ran next door to get Heather's daddy because my daddy wasn't home. Mommy quickly checked me and let me outside then she ran back into the living room and held a piece of paper over the whole until Ashley got help. Nana ran downstairs to get duck tape but Mom didn't use it. When mommy took the paper off, about 60 bees came flying out. Heather's daddy sprayed all of the bees, but it wasn't good enough because mommy had to call an exterminator to come that day. They ended up coming at 10pm when the bees were sleeping, and the removed the next which was the size of a BASKETBALL. There were probably about 80 dead bees all over the living room, kitchen, and family room.

Overall, mommy got stung twice, and Ashley got stung once. Although Ashley's sting was from a stray bee that got away and wandered around the house after the traumatic event.

That was scary, but luckily I wasn't stung! The ceiling is getting fixed soon, right now what is covering it is cardboard and painter's tape. The bees won't be coming back to that spot though, because the exterminators put a bee killing dust dispenser up there.

Have any of you seen Hotel For Dogs?! Best..movie..ever! I watched it with Ashley, Janelle, and Melissa. Now, I am making a group called "Hotel For Dogs." Everyone should join it..that is, when it opens. :)

I would occasionally bark or growl at the screen because I saw dogs, but I still loved the movie.

I want to be pampered like that, BOL.

Fridays.

Hullo!
Ashley didn't feel well so she stayed home all day instead of going out somewhere.

I cuddled with her on the couch and she played fetch with me! She took a LOT of pictures too.

Later, she took me outside to play a REAL game of fetch with my tennis ball! Then she discovered five other toys of mine covered in dirt and mud so she grabbed a bucket, put all of the toys in there, and then brought them over to the house. She used a sponge to get the cached on dirt off, and she even washed the bucket because they use the bucket to rinse off their feet before entering the pool.

Every time she would turn around to wash another toy I would dunk my head in the bucket full of water to get my frisbee I really..really...REALLY wanted to play with! I would get so much water up my nose I would take my head out, shake, and get Ashee soaked! She kept laughing at me, BOL.

She put my toys on the pool deck to dry and it was a really bad idea because..1) They could fall into the pool. 2) I wanted to play with them wet. 3) It just rained, so now they are going to take even LONGER to dry. UGH!

Casual day.

Ashley went to a party, so it wasn't fun at home until she was back around 4pm.

Anyways, boring day. Played fetch with Ashley earlier. Then it was like a photo shoot. She kept taking pictures of me!

August 19, 2009.

It's about 3 pm now, and I'm just barking at the house across the street. Why? They are paving the neighbors driveway. It's really hot out so the family is keeping me inside with plenty of water and nice air conditioning system.

Tired.

I slept all day.

Everyone went out shopping or to the beach, so I sat at home..it wasn't fun.

The only exciting thing was when daddy chased me around the house, and Ashley kept petting me when I was sleeping on her lap.

Cause I had bad day..

Well, my morning started off sleeping until 11:45 am.

Ashley let me outside, and I relaxed with her on the couch for a bit. Then Heather called and she was going to walk Mitzi. Ashley said I could go!!

I walk out in the driveway...I saw Mitzi!!!!!!! I barked, and pulled Ashley forward, and drooled.

Mitzi is an older dog so she didn't even care about me being there. Ashley distracted me with treats but I just didn't want one. There was a real dog right there in front of me!

So, we got two feet out of the driveway and Ashley brought me back in, she was very mad at me. I was in my bed all day while everyone swam and such.

Around 6 pm Ashley let me out and then she took me into the bathroom and cleaned under my eyes. She also brushed me and cleaned my ears with cue-tips. Ash rewarded me with a treat, and then did a little training with the clicker. Just some basic commands.."sit" and "lie down." She does that because she doesn't want me to forget like I have done with "lie down." And also sometimes how I get confused with "sit" and "stay."

That was all for today, a bad day I suppose.

Sunday..relaxation day.

Sunday has approached us!!

Daddy is home, but he went out to breakfast on the motorcycle before it got too hot. He was good to have gone early because hot diggity dog it's smokin' outside!

I sat inside most of the day while Melissa, aunt Kathy, and everyone swam.

Around 4 pm our company left and it was just me and the fam. Daddy let me outside and I went up on the pool deck while Ashley and Janelle were swimming. I loved being up there watching my girls in the pool. There was even a horsefly and guess who killed it..ME! Everyone was so proud of me, BOL.

My type of breed doesn't like water really, but daddy thinks if we go to a fresh water pond or a clean lake and I make sure I am wearing my life vest, I'll like it! Daddy is still looking for a camp, though. I must say though, the water that was splashed up on the deck before I got there felt really nice on my naked belly.

Chlorine is really bad for dog's skin though so daddy didn't like me rubbing my body all over the wet deck. It was hot outside!

Girls weekend, darn.

Daddy is driving back from Florida and should be home tonight or tomorrow.

The girls left me in my bed while they all went out to swim and have fun. I was all alone in the air conditioned house.

The people here included Heather from next door, Ashley, Janelle, and mom (obviously), nana, aunt Kathy, and Melissa (Peaches mom and sister).

It was pretty boring, but at night I cuddled up with mom on the couch while aunt Kathy watched tv downstairs with nana and the girls played Mario Kart and Cooking Mama on Wii.

Everyone was in bed when at 11 pm I heard the mudroom door open. I barked to show someone was here and a person turned on the light and said hi to me..it was daddy!!!

Well, I'm tired an need to go back to sleep!

Wow, super day!

The past few days have been boring..10th to the 13th was sleep, bark, and sunbathe. It's boring..but today..oh boy..today!!

Today was the best. Even though daddy's gone, mommy told me he landed safely in Florida, and is driving back with his sister now. He should be home late Saturday night, or anytime Sunday.

Well, today, auntie Kathy came over..she is Peaches mommy!! Peaches is my cousin if you didn't know. She is a Shih Tzu..or Shih Tzu/Lhaso Apso..or Havashu..or Havashu/Shih Tzu..or even Havashu/Shih Tzu/Lhaso Apso, BOL. She is one of those. I can't remember because whatever breed Peaches is, her mommy didn't update it on her profile yet.

I might not know what Peaches is, but shes a mighty cute cousin I have!!

Continuing the story..

Auntie Kathy came over and so I sat in my bed while everyone was swimming. Then when Ashley and Janelle (my sisters) got out of the pool, they let me outside to sit on the deck. Well, I was sort of out for a while, but it was because I refused to come in. I love that sun!! It feels so warm on my shiny coat, BOL. I came inside and Ashley gave me cold fresh water and she had to keep refilling it because I was panting so heavily. She never heard that sound coming from me before so she was a little scared but didn't let it get to her. She knew I was a strong boy and I would cool down fast laying on the cool floor with my tongue hanging out.

I was fine everyone! I knew I was fine from the beginning, they just don't know how tough I am. That heat is nothing..ok I lied, heat is very bad for me to stay out in long. But I love it! I always go in by myself if my family forgets out me (very rarely). But other than that, they always let me in, or check up on me every so often when I'm out there. Yes, I do know how to open the slider doors, BOL. Well, when it's unlocked. My family knows to lock it if the weather is cool and they don't want me inside for a bit for a certain reason.

Carrying on...

It reached 5 pm and auntie Kathy had left to go home to Melissa and Peaches. I ate my dinner (Purina Dog Chow) at 5:45 pm while everyone else at around 7 pm because they pigged out on junk food all day. They got takeout anyway.

Wow, this is a long entry, sorry guys!

Around 8:30-9 pm Ashley gave me vanilla haagen dazs ice cream. YUM!

I was so pumped from that so I sat next to Ashley the rest of the night watching what she would do.

Right after the ice cream she cleaned my normal food bool and now if is sparkling with fresh food in it. She also refilled my water bowl with crystal clear water, and then she gave me a nice pet on the head.

Later, about 10 pm, she brushed me, well tried. I was a little shook up from the wire brush so I ran away. She took out my treats and lined up six on the floor. This is when she tried to discover what my favorite flavors in order were. My treats are Milk Bones for small-medium dogs, Flavor treats. They had five different flavors and she took one of each (including a double by accident).

Stopped giving me treats but brought the box to the couch. She had to brushes. A plastic brush and a wire brush. I didn't like the wire one so she used the plastic one, and then I was all brushed so what did I get another treat!

Last time, because she could tell what my least favorite was because it would be the only one not eaten.

What did I choose as my fourth favorite flavor?
SAUSAGE!!

The order of my favorite flavors are..

1) Bacon
2) Chicken
3) Beef
4) Sausage
5) Turkey

Remember that order if you want to get me a present, BOL.

Finally, around 10:30 pm, I curled up in my bed, and fell asleep for the night.

I'll miss you!

Daddy is leaving.

No, not leaving furever, silly!

His sister, my auntie, who lives in Florida is coming back! She was going to drive back with her mom, also known as nana, but nana has been having problems with her heart. Don't worry, she's ok, but she had to stay here in Mass so she wouldn't miss any regular doctor visits. Feel better nana!!

Anyway, my dad is filling in for nana and is leaving tomorrow..August 14th..on an airplane to Orlando, FL. From there, he will drive back with auntie so she won't be alone.

Daddy is a grrreat driver! He drives my family back and forth to Florida all the time! Even though I'm sure he'll be ok, I'm praying for you to return safely daddy, I'll miss you.

Without daddy..I'm not sure what will happen this weekend. Well, I do know. I'm stuck with the girls, oh boy!

Daddy has gone away before snowmobiling in Maine or Canada. He has also gone to South Dakota for bike week, and Daytona, FL for bike week as well I believe.

He'll be back soon!!
