Likes:
Rolling in the grass; stealing socks and shaking them; crunching ice cubes; sleeping in the big bed and zooming around the house and backyard at top speed.

Pet-Peeves:
Being left alone, having a bath or having a big dog take her chewy.

Favorite Toy:
Anything plush and squeaky, ice cubes that slide across the floor and socks- dirty or clean.

Favorite Food:
Cottage cheese, chicken, bully sticks, mulch, grass, bugs, etc. She's a garbage disposal.

Favorite Walk:
All around our neighborhood and down the lane at my parents' house.

Best Tricks:
Talula likes to tell me off when I come home; she says "roo,roo,roo" . She also tells me this when I take away a shoe that she's been chewing on. She knows sit, down, dance and stay (within reason).

Arrival Story:
We lost our JRT, Ceilidh, to cancer back in January '09. I was really sad and lonely afterwards. I convinced my husband that we should get a new puppy. I did research on different breeds and decided on the Papillon because the breed seems to be healthy, hardy and energetic without being too hyper. When we picked Talula up she was already 4 mos. old and she seemed so docile; she slept in my lap for the 3 hour drive home. When we got her home- her personality proved to be anything but docile! She's quite the alpha female! We're working on that now and she's getting used to letting the humans be in charge. She still doesn't like it though. :)
