Arrival Story:
We rescued him from an abusive home. He was a year old when we got him and barely weighed 70 lbs. He didn't know what affection was, he didn't know what toys, bones or treats were and he peed himself the first time I tried to play with him. He was running around with the ball and I chased him like I do with all my puppies. He thought I was mad at him and put his tail between his legs and peed. I felt like a real heel, but within a few days we had his trust and he was able to experience things that he obviously never had before.

Bio:
Bear got ill and the vet wasn't sure what it was. We suspect it was from the abuse he had recieved from the people who had him before us. We had to put him down on 7-28-04. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do and I never want to have to do it again. He is sadly missed everyday and will never be forgotten.
