Arrival Story: A homeless couple walked up to our housemate in the nearby Target parking lot and asked if he could take their dog, since they were going to a homeless shelter and couldn't take him. We've been wanting a Dachshund, so he decided to take him. We got him checked out at the vet the next day, and he got a clean bill of health.
