 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 10th 2003
Likes: Doing the full body wag dance, chewing, licking, jumping, chewing, smelling the cat's bum, chewing, sleeping, treats and oh yeah -- chewing!!!

Pet-Peeves: Closed doors, when the cat won't let him smell his bum, being left alone, people who don't want to chase him around the house.

Favorite Toy: Anything stuffed (especially pillows) and any shoes left on the floor and not locked securely away in a closet.

Favorite Food: People food including (but not limited to): Chicken, peanut butter and eggs.

Favorite Walk: Around the corner to his best buddie Max's (a little hairless terrier) house.

Best Tricks: Otto's ONLY trick (but he does it so well!) is flicking a treat up in the air with his nose and catching it in his mouth!

Arrival Story: I've always loved dogs. BIG dogs! But I lived in an apartment and didn't think it would be good to have a big guy in such a small space with no yard. I thought about getting a small dog, but wasn't especially drawn to any particular breed. Then I entered a pet store while waiting for my car to be serviced, and saw this tiny little black bulgy-eyed creature staring into my eyes behind the glass. He was so weird looking - like a cute little alien baby! We bonded instantly. And even though I've heard not to buy animals from pet stores, I knew there was NO WAY I was leaving him behind. It was KISMET.

Forums Motto: I love shoes! (They taste like chicken!)

If you're a Boston like me, I betcha a million milkbones that you like to sleep burrowed under the blankets at night. Well, lately I've been struggling with sharing the bed with my human because she tosses and turns -- and TOTALLY HOGS THE COVERS!!! It has been increasingly more problematic .. but I figured out a brilliant solution!
For all you BTs out there facing a similar situation, follow my advice:
When your human steals the covers,
A) walk over to his/her face and stare at it. Believe me, even a sleeping human knows when there's an adorable little face staring at them two inches away.
B) when their eyes open, lick their nose.
C) Here where you can either whine lovingly, or bust out the puppy dog eyes.
It's worked every time.
See, training your humans is possible, you just need patience.
Good luck!

Hi everydoggie!
I've been trying to get online, but I think my mom broke the comupter. I tried shoving some milkbones into the disc drive, but that didn't seem to work. I also tried to entice it to life by teasing it with my rope-bone (you guys have to check out my seductive Dance-of-the-Rope-Bone ... it's mighty hard to resist!). That didn't work either. So I've been scribbling diary entries by muzzle secretly under the bed. Here's the 411:
There are 2 new cats in the house and I'm gonna get them!
There are 2 big dogs in the house (mom keeps calling them "petsitting") and I can take them both on at the SAME TIME!
There's a new human in the house and she hates being licked. Hee hee hee.
More later ---

I had the best weekend ever!!!
My parents took me out into the wilderness to a place called "camping." I got to run around and play with another doggie named Bobby and sleep in a tent (burrowed under the sleeping bag, of course). I even went swimming for the first time and I wasn't even scared! Boy, was the water cold!
THEN, on Sunday I went frisbee golfing at the park. I can run SO fast. If you ever want a good race, you let me know. And at the park, my mom was so happy because I didn't chase after any rollerbladers. I barked at a couple of ducks though. Come on, I'm only canine.
