Yesterday was my first intermediate obedience class!!! Mom took me early to do a recap of the class I had to miss the week prior. The trainer wanted to see me to stay and she bounced a ball around me. The trainer said I did really good. Then she used a squeaky and mom saw how bad I wanted it but I did not get up. We then did a basic review of things such as come, sit, down, and then I showed my tricks like crawl and roll over. We still had 15 minutes until class so the trainer she took out a laser and I went nuts. I chased that thing and every time I caught it I got a treat. Then 3 dogs came in. There was a beagle puppy, a Boston Terrier, and a Chihuahua mix. After greeting all the dogs, the trainer realized are hardest feet would be to watch what are mom's are asking us to do instead of watching each other. We went out into the store and mom was impressed with how well I stayed even with other people around. She was able to go down the entire aisle and I stayed. We also worked on come when called with distractions. I watched as the Boston Terrier went down the aisle without picking up any of the toys. I was not having that so I tugged at my leash and SNAP, took off down the aisle collecting all the toys I could. They all boxed me in so what is a pup to do run between the legs. Finally I was caught, and the trainer let mom borrow a leash. Darn, I could not get off this one. When it came to my turn I stayed well but then I refused to come. I would not budge. The trainer finally ran me down to mom. After that we still had 15 minutes to spare. We all took a vote and decided just to have play time. That was fun!!!!! The Chihuahua did not like it so much, but they called me the referee between the beagle and the Boston because as they wrestled I just ran around and around them. Then that laser came out again and when they turned it off I still went searching for it everywhere. All in All mom was happy with how I did. I want to go back cant wait till next week.

Daisy Daisy Daisy, where do you begin to talk about Daisy?

A breeder of Border Collies had a whoops when her Catahoula ended up pregnant. She did not know what to do for she could not sell them like she sells her Pure Bred Border Collies. Another problem occurred once the pups where born. Daisy was one of 10 pups! Her mom was not producing enough milk and after only a few weeks showed no will to even try to care for them. Daisy and her siblings where bottled fed. Some did not make it. As soon as I saw Daisy I knew she was for me. In the litter there was only one pup that looked big and healthy. All the rest including Daisy where skinny and quiet. Even though she looked lethargic I knew when she opened her Big green eyes that she was mine. We thought that we had gotten this laid back, quiet puppy. Wrong O!! After only a week of feeding and socialization she turned into this animated, spazzy, but soo sweet of a puppy. Daisy is now 4 months old and is growing fast! When we got her at 5 weeks she weighed around 4 or 5 lbs. She is now 30 lbs of pure energy!!! She is spoiled rotten. I have already fallen in love with this dog that life tried to not give a chance. I am a big believer in adoption or in this case giving a dog or pup a chance to live. Daisy and her siblings were unwanted at the beginning, but now she will forever be wanted and loved by my family and I
