Arrival Story:
Benny was an e-mail sent to inquire about fostering him. Turns out he was a prisoner of the Breeder's handler who, between the 2 of them, had kept him in a PLASTIC PET TAXI smaller than what you'd put a cat in for the LAST 3 YEARS! They told the Rescue that he was only 3 years old which was totally wrong. Just seeing him the first time and giving him his physical told me he was AT LEAST 5. Our vet says possibly/likely could be 6 (I'll give Benny the benifit of the doubt at 5) They called ARF and told Sandy (a wonderful soul) that she (the handler) was going to have Benny PTS this weekend (we were on wednesday when I taoled to Sandy) if she didn't find a place for himbecause "All he does is bark!". Well DUH!!! Get him out of the pet carrier!! I've had him nearly a month and he is just amazing. Confident, and courage to boot and ready to take on the world!
