Arrival Story:
Bear was tied to a tree in his owner's backyard in Houston and wasting away. When authorities warned them to knock it off, they just let him go. A very nice lady named Sim took him in off the streets and brought Bear (then called Blackie) to Austin to find a forever home. Bear stayed with Brian all weekend and at the end of the weekend, Brian realized he couldn't live without Bear. Now Bear lives with his new best dog friend Lucy and his guardians Brian and Catherine and is very happy.
