Arrival Story:
Astro was found wandering the streets near the Astrodome, sad-looking and soaking wet from a bad rainstorm. He was extremely malnourished and was suffering from demodectic mange. Seeing him in this awful situation, Astro’s foster parents rescued him, and he has been happily staying with them ever since!
Bio:
Astro has been gaining weight and recovering wonderfully in his foster home! He is heartworm negative, has been microchipped, neutered, and has gotten all of his shots. He gets more gorgeous every day and his sweet, laid-back personality would win anyone’s heart.
Astro is an affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to be around his people. He is potty-trained and walks well on a leash. He enjoys being active and taking long walks, but loves lounging on the couch next to his humans equally as much. He is a quick learner and even learned 3 new tricks (sit, shake, and stay) within a week of coming to his foster home!
Astro has been great around the dogs in his foster home. He has not been observed around cats. He is good with people of all ages as well. He would love nothing more than to be an only dog and get your undivided love and attention!
Astro needs regular exercise and play time. He would like to be with an experienced dog owner. He is learning about crates and needs to be an indoor dog.
