Woof, this year was a new and exciting adventure...my masters bought a trailer and we went camping. One week in July when we went it was so hot I was happy that they had air conditioning in it for me. I enjoyed lots of extra walks and sniffs on my camping adventure and can't wait to go again this summer. Not sure where our adventure is going to be in summer 2007 but I am sure it will be fun.
Will drop another line next sniff I get!

Hi everyone! Thought I would write to brag about my summer vacation.
I was taken on a trip to a cottage in northern Ontario...a place called Oxtongue Lake which is about 30 km east of Huntsville. It sure wasn't as humid there as it is here, but I guess that is because we were right on Oxtongue Lake. I went swimming a few times and chased chipmunks most of the time. I went for walks everyday sometimes 3-4 times a day. It was great fun! The best swimming for me was in Oxtongue River (picture shown) where I also did some rock climbing.
There were a number of other dogs at the cottage resort we stayed at, as it was a pet friendly resort. There was a Shitzu/Poodle cross named Sweetie, a Boxer named Ki, a Dutch Shepherd named Sniper and a Shitzu named Pearl. Although I don't usually play well with other dogs, I really didn't seem to mind being around them.
We are home now and it is always good to get home but I sure did enjoy my summer vacation!

Much to my masters delight (especially mom's) the warm weather has arrived. I like it to as I get taken out for more walks. Sure are a lot of new sniffs around the neighbourhood. It can get a little warm for me with my double coat and all, but I have a few cool spots around the yard I can lay and enjoy the breeze.
Not much else new in this dog's life. I did celebrate my 11th birthday on April 7th. I got a new bowl for water in the backyard as my other one cracked over the winter and I also received some special treats - t-bones (don't usually get these type).
Well enjoy the spring my fellow pup pals will talk again soon!
