 Quick Bio:

Likes: Snuggling & sleeping next to his owners, weekends, chewing on his sister, running with his sister outside, belly scratches, going for rides in the car

Pet-Peeves: Spending a long time out in cold weather, taking baths, not getting attention, the smell of nail polish, and being left home when we leave (He thinks he should be able to go everywhere with us!)

Favorite Toy: Sticks, his purple sqeaky toy, his pink piggy, and his OSU football

Favorite Food: Pig ears, Chicken, Icecream, Lunchmeat

Favorite Walk: Anywhere (so he can pee on every single tree he comes across)!

Best Tricks: Bang! Bang! He can play dead... He can also play "hide and seek" where we hide a treat or toy somewhere in the house and he finds it.

Arrival Story: Otto was adopted from an animal shelter. He had been there for over 2 months and was on the "urgent" bulletin board. We found his photo online along with two other dogs we wanted to check out. When we got "Killian" out at the pound, he was crazy! He went nuts because he was so happy to be out of his cage. We could tell that he was super smart, though... and he was also very friendly. The truth is that my husband fell in love with him and just had to have him. We renamed "Killian" Otto to go along with our German last name. He was approximately 8 months old when we adopted him that day.

Bio: Otto is very grateful for the wonderful life he has at our house! He loves to be spoiled! He is often seen prancing with treats and "fluffing" his bed before a nap. Our large bay window is his neighborhood "look-out" and he loves to chase squirrels in the back yard. He enjoys getting his belly rubbed, visiting family and friends, and sleeping in our bed.

We leave tomorrow to go to Grandma's house! I hope to have tons of f un playing nonstop with my buddies Toby and Jacob! I can't wait to go for a R-I-D-E.
Dreaming of all the treats and the big shaded yard already,

So, last weekend, we had to be "boarded," as mom calls it. The dog guy had TONS of dogs this time and it was also 4th of July weekend. You can imagine how freakin' loud that place was. I barely slept a wink. I've been taking extra long naps to try make up for my lost sleep, in fact. I am also told that we will have to be boarded the following two weekends, too. UGH! Can't we just go with you?! (Not to a baby shower and wedding out of town, I guess)
*Sigh*,

Whew... what a long trip that was to Grandma's house! It was lots of fun to have so much time to play with Toby and Jacob. But, I am SO happy to be back at "Otto & Sophie's house," as our mom calls it. It is extremely hot here, though... and I've been loving long naps inside with the air-conditioning cranked!
Woof,
Otto
