Arrival Story:
A call came into me from a very upset woman. Her husband had passed away, and she had adopted this dog from the animal control because her doctor and family felt it was a good idea. However, at 73 and with failing health, a 10 month old energetic pup was just to much for her to handle. With a reluctant heart, she called and asked me to take in this little dog, whom she had not even given a name to because she had not wanted to get attached. It was love at first sight. My son immediately named him "Papi." We placed an ad to find a permanent home for him, but no interest came out of it. However, we knew in our hearts that it was meant to be for him to be part of our family. Papi has a home here, and playmates with his 3 fur siblings!
