Arrival Story:
The family that previously owned Kourntee no longer had time for her. The lady that owned her knew I had a Dalmations and gave homes to dogs that no one wanted. She brought Kourtnee too us one evening so long ago. Kourtnee looked so sad. She had her food bowl and her little pink quilt. When the previous owner left she was crying. Kourtnee however did not stay sad for long. The other Dalmation we had was Pepsi Cola and that was her sister! Kourntee and I bonded almost from the get go and she never left her sisters side. We had to coax Kourtnee up on the couch and it was ok to sleep on the bed. Her other home was very very strict with her, but we are pretty laid back and it didn't take her long to get the hang of things at our house. She loved running in the fields playing with the horses. I think Kourtnee wanted to be a horse ! She had the most amazing eyes and the sweetest face, we loved her very much.
Bio:
Kourtnee was very gentle and very much a lady, quite the opposite of her sister Pepsi! I got to take both of them to work,when I was a firefighter. We used to paint Kourtnees toenails sometimes bright red! She loved to go on walks or ride in the truck. They were known as the twisted sisters! Once we took them on a 2 day backpacking trip. Poor little Kourtnee was so tired at one point she fell asleep sitting down with her little pack on. When Kourntee went to the Rainbow Bridge I was heart broken, 6 months later her sister Pepsi joined her. I knew that they would probally go to the bridge pretty close together. They are both happy now, running and playing. Kourtnee is forever in my heart, a special place for a very special and loving baby. I will always love you Kourtnee, sweet Kourtnee sweet baby of mine.
