Arrival Story:
Dave and I were looking on petfinder.com for a dog, and when we saw Sasha's picture we just had to have her. She looked so sweet and you could tell she just wanted to be loved. I went and met her one day while Dave was at work and she was so sweet and gentle and she loved when I pet her ears. She came to live with us that very day, and she's brought us so much joy! It took her almost a year to become the doggy she is today...much more confident and outgoing.

Bio:
Sasha was pregnant and ended up in a pound...we don't know exactly how, but it was obvious she was neglected. She was pregnant and very thin. She had four puppies who were adopted from the pound right away, but no one wanted the mama. The Bill Foundation, a no kill shelter, rescued her from the pound, and by the time we found her she was already at the rescue. Unfortunately we don't know what happened to her puppies, but they must be gems coming from Sasha! I hope they have good, happy homes too!
