Arrival Story:
We had another Basset Hound, Kopper that was dear to our hearts, that sadly passed away in Oct. 2008. We had gone back and forth about getting another dog, and what breed to get. We decided that we wanted another female Basset that was primarily black, but weren't actively looking for one. While in the pet store I came across the most adorable Basset puppy ever and it all just fell into place. We named her Rosie in honor of our first Basset Princess Kopper Rose.

Bio:
The staff at the place she came from called her Wishbone, due the the wishbone shaped patch of white hair on her back.

Today I went to my grandparents house and played with my pup aunt Emma. She is a beautiful 3 year old black lab that was adopted by them about a month ago. I couldn't contain all of my excitment toward her. I was so hyper jumping and licking and playing. Emma was great she played and played and played! I had a great time, and now a great nap is in order!

I am trying to understand what the big deal is. Seriously, why am I not allowed to sniff the ground the entire time? If I want to chase the ducks what's the big deal? I'll do what she says becuase there are usually treats involved. But one of these days I'll get my way and the ducks are mine!
