Arrival Story: Etta was a stray that someone was going to take to the shelter. She was very filthy and had a problem with her mouth so she did not eat. When we took her to the vet we were told that her jaw was broken and the gum was ripped from her jaw bone, this was why she had lost teeth on that side. The break was already healing so she must have been in a great deal of pain for weeks. The vet said the injury could have been from abuse or being hit by a car. She was timid of me and terrified of my husband but in 3 years has become a real love. She still is uncomfortable around strangers which makes her a great watchdog.
Bio: She loves to run, may have a bit of greyhound in her!
