Arrival Story:
My step-dad found her wandering the streets near their home with a collar but no tags. We put up signs, called the pound and sent pictures. After more than 2 weeks of trying to find her original owners I accepted that we had my son's first dog. She was about 6 months old at the time. She was an escape artist getting out of the yard by different means. We almost lost her once before 4th of July when kids were doing firecrackers she took off scared. We made a sign and posted them all over and visited the pound. After a day we went up and down the streets asking everyone about her and it's then that some kids tipped us off that a boy down the street had her despite seeing the lost dog signs. He wouldn't open the door for us when we knocked but we heard Gigi scratching inside. The neighbor saw my little son and how sad he was about losing his dog so told us the boy's mom would be there soon. We waited in our car across the street, then the kids that originally told us about the boy walked by. I asked them to knock on the door, when they did and he opened for them I came up and asked for my dog. He tried to say they were going to call us that night. I thanked him for taking care of my dog and took her back.

Bio:
She is super affectionate and will kiss you to death if you let her. She had a litter of 7 puppies on 11/25/08. We caught her with the Min Pin from up the street a few months earlier. He still escapes to come and visit her sometimes and they give kisses through the fence.
