Arrival Story:
When the Pens were in the playoffs in 2008, I thought one of the players had a cool name for a dog (I was planning an a little black and white girl Shih Tzu). Once we realized Priscilla needed a younger playmate, we sorta ruled out the Shih Tzu and started looking for a black female pug, after several disappointments with different rescues - we were just going to consider a puppy from a breeder. Friday at work, I received two emails from my friend who no longer runs a rescue, but knew were looking. The first was was from another rescue, saved from a puppmill, the second was Riley - yes he is a boy and so is Nicco - Patti and her powers of persation. LOL!!! Chris and I instantly fell in love with Riley from his picture -then we learned his name and knew it had to be Rutuu, we have a neice named Riley. I did meet the other pug and although she was aborable too - Rutuu stole our hearts from the start.
Bio:
Ruutu just stole our hearts and fit right in. He and Prissi became fast friends and he gets along well with Nicco and Spike. He listens well, except at bedtime, he refuses to sleep on the floor and is a bed hog. He loves his crate, especilly his little black one he rides in the car in, he will try to get in anything that resembles it, including some of my purses (think I should take the hint and use smaller purses?).

So after the wonderful morning, I got a very rude surprise late this afternoon, Momma told me I stink and she was gonna de-stink me!!
Usually the big gives me my baths and that is just fine by me! He knows what a guy needs for a good bath and he likes me to smell like a stud, so he uses some Aqua D Gio on me when he washes me.
Well Momma says, she thinks that makes me itchy, so she only used medicated shampoo on me, so how am I supposed to smell studly?
After we played the towel game a bit (my FAVE!) She goes into the little bathroom and comes out with a bottle and sprays me.....OH YES!!!! I smell so STUDDLY. Burberry Touch!!!

Well what a nice morning I had this morning.
Slept in, had some nice kibble and begged some from my bro Nicco and from Jewels. Went out for a nice little walk with Momma and then I scanned the yard for candies while she and Jewels pulled weeds and then I had some nice sun time.
After a nap, I walkmed to the mail box with Momma and then another nap after begging for her lunch.
Wonder what else the day has in store for me today? :)

Wow! What a Christmas it has been!
Momma and Daddy stayed home with us all day and they cooked all day too!!
Bad thing was I has an upset tummy so I did not even eat breakfast this morning, but on the upside I did get us all chicken for dinner since my belly was so upset, which means our special Christmas dinner was really special and we have what Momma and Daddy bought for our dinner for another time.
Santa brought us a bunch of toys and new blankies. Nicco's wife sent him some really good cookies and since Nicco is such a cool brother he will share with us when my belly is feeling better.
But Nicco is a bad husband...he has not shipped Marley's gift yet. Momma heard Marley would like a new bed and she did not find any she liked, so she decided she would ship the prezzies that are here and find a bed online and have it shipped, well when the 'rents went to ship Aunt Thrisa's gifts to have them there by Christmas (which we shipped regular 4 day because of the price), Daddy said no more shipping til after the holidays!
Well Merry Chrostmas to all - I need a nap!
