Hey everyone it's been quite some time. On the 11th of December Peanut will be a year old! I can't believe it, i remember when he couldn't walk five steps without falling! how much he's grown, my little baby's growin' like a weed ;)! Well Peanut is great with everything although bath time is still a hard time, he finally figured out what bath and bath time meant so now if he's bad i yell out "BATH TIME!" and he'll immediately stop whatever he's doing. It's funny because every time he barks at the door (A habit i am trying to break!) i say bath and he'll growl a little growl like if he's saying "Fine!". He's is just too funny these days and he learned how to catch treats in his mouth so I'm very proud! I ordered a trick book so i could expand his knowledge and junk. It'll be fun for both of us!
The day after his birthday Me, him, one of my mom's friends and her dog Sunshine, his bestest (I know its not a word but he's the peas to her carrots LOL) friend in the world, we'll go to petco to go and have a little shopping spree. Sunshine is a Dachshund Hound and she is 9 months younger than Peanut. They make the cutest pair! When he first met her he was in his crate since at the time he'd get too excited, and they sniffed noses for awhile and that was all. Well a month later he had to stay a week with my mom and her friends and he was with her a lot. I'm surprised because to him she was a little kid at his feet, so it wouldn't seem like he'd want to try anything like mounting or fighting. They slept together, ate together, played together, even went potty together. She was tiny so there were times he'd accidentally step all over her but she didn't care, i guess to her it was a game. But he was never aggressive and i think at one time they played keep away with one of my moms shoes, she got so mad.
Well I just gave Peanut a bath and he's tired so we're both going to knock out, well good night everyone from both of us!

Hello everyone! It's been awhile and Peanut has gotten HUGE not fat but... well big! LOL! So I was thinking for awhile that it would be nice to have another dog in the house for Peanut, since he gets so lonely. I have never had a female dog before so i went to Puppyfind.com and looked up some dogs! I finally found one she was a little pricey but the breeder said she'll be free since all she wants is for the puppies to have a good home. They live in Edgewood, TX which is a 5 hour drive from here! She is a beautiful black with white markings chihuahua, 7 months old. My boyfriend said he'll probably pick her up next weekend for me. So everyone wish me luck BYE!

Ok to start off...hi. Ok i am a newbie i have had many pets but only 2 dogs, i am a teenager so still a little new to the doggy care business. Peanut has been my puppy for about a month now and i am so attached to him. I've been doing good with him, i taught him tricks, i feed him, walk him, bathe him, love him.
Well today it was a usual day i woke up due to his crying to go to the bathroom- the little baby- so we went outside. he decided to play in the dirt so i fed him then took him a bath. Then something happened to him that had never happened before, HE THREW UP! it was nothing serious though. He just got a little tummy ache or ate too much. When i took him back to the room he starting being the little clumsy dork he always is. He trips... a lot. He is unusual he likes to play with cat toys but it's cut to watch him chase the ball so i let him continue.
Sometime this month we're going to take him to a walk in clinic so he can get his rabies shots and DHLPP shots... whatever the heck that is. And he is going to be micro chipped. Together this will be $50 bucks which i need to start saving. My boyfriend agreed to chip in for the chip though, he is a dog lover and has 4 of his own. Well gotta go Peanut is playing with the gerbil ball. NO PEANUT DON'T DO THAT! BYE!
