Arrival Story:
Dover is my dad's dog. When BoBo left us, dad said he didn't want another dog, but the first weekend at work (he is a night watchman at a coal mine) without BoBo got awfully lonely. It happened that my principal's wife had rescued a golden retriever, but had been given 2 weeks to find him a home. When BoBo died, she asked me if I wanted a golden retreiver, but my heart belongs to Siberian Huskies. I asked dad if he wanted me to tell her he wanted the retreiver, and he said he did. That is how Dover became dad's dog.

Bio:
My principal's wife rescued Dover after he jumped out of a window of a moving vehicle and got hurt. The driver did not stop or come back for him. She took him to the vet and had him doctored, and took him home with her. She also drove the school bus, and Dover rode it with her. The students named him. He has definitely filled the hole BoBo left in dad's heart.
