Peanut was dumped at the fire station where we live. He was just a little puppy, but had a big voice. He was almost screaming at the door.
The firefighter that I work with called me at home and asked that one important question, do you have room for one more?
Of course we did, he arrived at our home and it was love at first sight between him and my hubby. This was to be his "pride and joy".
When Peanut was a little pup we used to carry him around on a pillow, yes he was spoiled. He is a great dog. Loves everyone and is very protectful of us.
Each night before bedtime he does a perimeter check around the house to make sure everything if okey dokey.
Bio:
When I was still a small pup mom entered me in a contest! She entered those Dalmations too but guess what THEY didnt win, I did. Me the mutt, haha. I won $50.00 and a really pretty certificate. I won best all around. Mom took the $50.00 and bought us all doggie treats, I peed on my certificate, hey I was just a pup. The picture was cute, mom took it with an old fashioned camere, shes got one of them digital thingys now. She put me in a canvas bag with my cute head and paws sticking out. The bag had Manzinita written on it and then she hung me on a door and snapped the picture. Yup I just had to look cute and I won the big prize. Everyone was happy, well except those stupid Dalmations..they were jealous.
