Arrival Story:
Rusty, Sassy and Sissy are all rescues. Rusty has his own page. The girls are the result of the recession, their owner had lost her job and her home was in foreclosure. She had 2 days left to find the girls a forever home.
We met at the supermarket, and she was telling me her story and my heart broke, she would have had to take them to a high kill shelter, and with as many people losing their homes, many pups are being surrendered, most meet the fate of euthanasia. I went home and discussed the dilemma with my husband. He said to call, she had given me her phone number and we went to see Mary, and brought them home.
My husband had a major stoke last May and Rusty has been his companion, so adding the two girls was a no brainer, in less then 24 hours they are Daddy girls and Rusty's harem. They have a forever home and are safe. If Mary ever decides she would like them back, she can. Her heart broke as I walked down the driveway with the pups, she loved them as we will.
Both are not spayed and will have a going over at the vet when they go in to get spayed.
Bio:
Sissy was bred and had a litter of pups, she only had 2, one went to Mary's daughter and the other to her ex husband. Both girls are 3 years old, Sissy will never have to worry about having pups again, she will live life as a queen and so will Sassy.
