I is ashamed to admit this but I gotta eatin' problem. We has discovered I doesn't know how ta eat pannycakes!

Our good neighbor friend lady invited us over fur a cup o' coffee. Wellwoof she saw Ma workin' out in the yard and invited her over and since I was out I came along, too.

Good neighbor friend lady had sum pannycakes leftover from her breakfast. She gave one to her pup, Milo, and one to me! Woof-howlz, yummy! Only problem is how do you eat this big soft thing?! I dropped mine on the floor and Milo, little scrounge that he is, wolfed his down and started workin' on mine, too! I didn't know what to do, so I kinda whined a little.

Luckily good neighbor friend lady had one more pannycake and took pity on me. She handed it to Ma who tore it up into little bitty pieces and hand fed it to me. "What a sheltered little girl you are Pep!"

My humans know that I often expect to be hand fed in bite size pieces. Mommy thinks it is hilarious that I can get my own food, and open it, but then want to be fed by the humans. She claims I want attention, but I say it is because I'm just a little lap dog. LOL

grins* I had a very similar problem. While I was thinking about a strategy, Jolanda just ate mine in the mean time :D But then, next time, I had a plan. I took it to another place and meditated over it for a few min. Then I ripped it to pieces and ate it delightfully :o)
I am sure you will figure out some smart way of eating them for next time!

Oh Jojo, I am so glad there is another pup who has had this dilema! That's a very good suggestion to take it and hide with it until I can figure out how to eat it!

Sophie Claire that's just how I ended up eatin' that pannycake, me sittin' and bein' hand fed. But it's kinda embarrassin' when a bigger dog like me can't eats a pannycake on my own and a little dog like Milo scarfs it on up with no problem! Sum of those smaller dogs can really pack it away!
