A Pepper pancake does not sound good! Luckily I did not hafta be one and ma did not hafta scrape one offa the road!

What happened is my ball rolled down the driveway into our little cul-de-sac street. There is only 7 houses on our street so we don't have much traffic. Still, I never gets my ball when it rolls in the street without permission first. Ma was doin' sum yard works so she said I hadta wait a bit til she was ready to go with me.

Anywoofs, finally she was ready and walked halfway down the driveway with me and thought the way was clear. She told me I could go get my ball. She didn't know the mail-lady had driven by a few minutes earlier and was on her way back outta the cul-de-sac. We were almost to the bottom of the driveway and into the street when ma realized her BIG mistake! She called me back and told me to leave the ball! What the woof?! But listen, I did and return to her, I did and I really wanted to get my ball! Ma is so pleased and proud of me! She made a mistake but I saved the day!

Oh my dog, that is scary!! I'm never off the leash cuz Momma doesn't think a terrier would listen too good if they saw a squirrel or bunny to chase and she doesn't want a Finley pancake any more than your Momma would want a Pepper one...

Pancakes-- now you've gone and made me hungry for some pancakes... they kind with maple syrup on 'em, of course...
