Arrival Story:
This sweet little girl was born in a puppy mill, and kept as a breeder. On Jan 8, 2009, when she was 4 years old, she was part of a group of 9 dogs rescued by Small Paws Rescue. They named her Natasha.
Tasha was groomed, spayed, and eventually flew from Tulsa OK to Mass to her first foster home. Things did not work out, as Tasha is afraid of children, and the first foster home included children. I was asked to get her.
Bio:
Tasha was transferred to Just A Touch Rescue, Inc. in RI, and I became her foster mom. Within 3 hours, she was in my Dad's lap! (Took a bit longer for her to come around for me.) She has been to doggie play dates and small breed dog Meet Ups, and is loving her freedom! Tasha gets along with dogs and cats but she is not keen on children. Tasha is very leery of people, which is typical for a mill rescue. After 3 weeks of fostering, I applied to adopt her. Tasha is now in her furever home.
