Gotcha Date: January 24th 2009 Birthday: December 2nd 2001 Likes: running and racing around her yard Pet-Peeves: C.C. on her bed; having to use her 'manners'; Favorite Toy: Serta -- going in the stump with her!!! Favorite Food: NOT seafood or boiled eggs but pretty much everything else. Favorite Walk: anywhere and everywhere Best Tricks: rolling over on her back and stretching out to six foot! Arrival Story: Gabby was left at a shelter in Abingdon VA -- a product of divorce. We had lost a girl at Christmas and Irish Setter Rescue was searching for another sister for C.C. Gabby was in a shelter in VA -- it was so close that we almost lost her but the shelter vet called her soon-to-be foster mom for help. She called Irish Setter Rescue and then it was just a matter of getting me to my furever home. Some people visiting in VA picked me up and took me to Charlotte NC. From there, Miss Margo picked me up and took me to meet my new family ... IN A TRUCK STOP ON THE SIDE OF INTERSTATE 77.
So my new family was there ... including my new sister, C.C. We rode home to Charleston, SC. My house has a great yard -- I like to chase butterflies and race around the yard.
My Dad put up a new piece of fence so I have to stay in my own yard but that's okay. It's a really neat yard with a fence that I can see out of ... kind of like jail except it's so nice here.
I have my very own feather bed and I don't like for C.C. to get on it. My Dad will make her move most of the time.
