Arrival Story:
C.C. was just plumb pitiful when we first met her. She had been practically shaved to get rid of all the knots and briars and brambles; her tail had to be amputated; she was underweight. This dog was just plumb pitiful. I sat down and asked her if she wanted to go home with me and she gave a kiss. I took that as a yes. So we brought her home to Charleston where she promptly became a 'Daddy's girl' and I don't think I've gotten any kisses since. I'll do in a dire emergency but C.C. is her Daddy's girl. Her tie is a Canadian Club tie. C.C. went to the Rainbow Bridge on December 30th, 2009

We have made so many furiends here on Dogster and leaving is going to be like losing a family member ... or hundreds of family members at the same time!!!

But look at where I started tied to a tree on the side of the highway in Kentucky and then taken to the animal shelter ... and look at where I went ... to a beautiful warm home where I was loved and fed and looked after by pawrents that I loved and who loved me! My Daddy took me and Whiskey, then Jade, and then my great little sister, Gabby for a walk every morning ... no, he really didin't want to but he knew that we need the exercise so he did it.

In the big picture of my life, Dogster closing is no big deal. We will always have the memories and will always stay in contact with our special furiends that we have made on Dogster.

Our Mom has started a page on Facebook called the 3 Redheads ... here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/The3Redheads. Come and visit us!!

Hugs and smoochies,

C.C. -- one of the Redheads!
