Likes:
I like my people, especially my mom (of course) and also the rest of my family.

Pet-Peeves:
Big, loud trucks. Come on, why not drive a regular, quiet car? Bathtime, too. How embarassing.

Favorite Toy:
Any kind of ball, really. I think toys with squeakers in them are EVIL and should be abolished, I made my Mom do surgery to remove the squeakers from several of my toys.

Favorite Food:
Raw food and Orijen kibble. I also like basically anything that smells good.

Best Tricks:
I can balance a treat on my nose, and I know how to play hide-and-go-seek.

Of Food and Obedience

I will always come when called by the scent of Blue Dog Bakery. It would be a mistake not to obey with a box of their treats sitting on the counter.

But what if I'm called without the benefit of food? Will I still come if Mom calls? Of course! I'll be a good little guy, and come. Crossing my fingers the whole way that she'll have a strip of chicken jerky hidden in her pocket.

If nothing else, I'll get a fuss of "Good boy!" and a pat on the head, and that makes it all worth it. I love nothing more than pleasing my mom. I suppose you could call me a Mama's boy, but you know, bad dogs don't get treats.

Discovery!

I just found out something big. You know how humans throw away whatever food they don't consider absolutely perfect? They do, honest! I know, I was shocked, too! But they throw out animal fat, dry bread, apple cores, and any food that's been in storage for too long! Finicky, I know.

It's a shame to waste that good food, so I followed them to place where they dispose of it. Its a large, white container, similar to the kind they store dog food in. And, best of all, it's actually quite easy for me to break into. I can't believe I haven't discovered this before!

Wait, what's that? Oh.

Turns out, I'm not allowed to eat the wonderful goodies of the large white container. Why, why, why!? It's so unfair.

Forget what you saw. There has been no great discovery.

Snow!

I live in a place where we don't get much snow. When the weather dude says it's going to snow, we get a half-inch of slush that melts an hour after it stops snowing. It's just cold and wet and yucky and gross. This time, it's deep and dry and fluffy and fun to run and play in! Yay!!!

It's Cold, too.

Mom let me out to play earlier today. I started shivering and being frozen and such, so she got me a shirt to wear. It helped a little, but it got tangled up in my feet because it wasn't quite tight enough. She said if we lived somewhere that got snow like this all the time, she would get me a real jacket. But we don't.

I'm short. The snow came up to my elbows in some places! I couldn't run like normal. I had to hop like a rabbit.

Snow tastes good! Like water, but colder! It was fun to run around and dig in the snow because it was so soft and poofy and dig-inable.

I like snow.
