Summer is a great athlete.
The most beautiful wife in the world ... my Summer.
My wife Summer and I have a beautiful, open communication. We can discuss anything. We share our thoughts, our hopes and our dreams together. And sometimes, we have Q&A times just to get to know one another even better.
The other day, we were talking about what our lives were like before we met. I mentioned something about how I'd been looking for my idea of "the perfect girl." And Summer asked what exactly had been my vision of the perfect girl. So here is what I told her:
Someone very feminine. One who is beautiful, but doesn't have to be flashy to prove it. A lady who lets me love her and take care of her every need, but one who's there for me when I need to find some comfort too. One who listens with her heart and speaks from her heart. And one who works with me at making sure all our dreams come true together.
That sounds like alot to be dreaming about, but to put it all in a much more Succinct = definition, I could have said that I wanted someone who was beautiful on the inside as much as the outside, a lady who is just a little old-fashioned and someone who would love me and always let me know it.
Summer was all of that. And I would soon find out that she was even more. We have the most amazing life together, and it's founded on more than just a physical attraction. I love everything about my wife. She's beautiful, yes! But more importantly, she's kind and giving and she makes me smile when nothing else can. Our family now includes our son Jesse and twins due after Christmas! And right there at the heart of our home is Summer. She makes every day worth getting up for. She makes every activity an adventure. She makes every moment count. I'm a lucky guy and I know it.
And I just want to tell her, through my diary, how much I love her. My life would be so empty if I had never met her. But thank God, I did meet her! And I'll hold on to her like the treasure she is.
Summer Burton, I love you in a way I never dreamed possible. Thank you for sharing each of my dreams as we go through life together. I wouldn't want to share the Journey with anyone else but YOU!
