Birthday: November 1st 2008 Likes: playing with toys, dogs, people, even cats Pet-Peeves: being crated, gated or locked out & the hand sign for " no!" Favorite Toy: a plush toy shaped like a dog bone given to her at her foster home who rescued her. Favorite Food: seems to be everything that's not nailed down :) Favorite Walk: any walk is a favorite walk. Best Tricks: getting Mommy to smile by being naughty and nice at the same time Arrival Story: Shelby came to us as a rescue from Tennessee. In her short lifetime, she has had 4 additional homes before finding her forever home with us. Bio: Shelby is what is referred to as " Lethal White" Aussie. She is also deaf but to her it is not a handicap. She is curious about everything, into everything, keeping Mommy on her toes :)
She is such an innocent and even though she can get into trouble, it's hard to stay mad at her. She is on the needy side and insecure so we give her a bit more one on one time and attention. In time we know she will settle down just as Chuckie did.
Shelby would not be with us today if it wasn't for a kind neighbor of the farmer who bred her and who intended to put her down because of her condition. The neighbor asked if he could have her and that set into motion a chain of events ultimately resulting in Shelby coming to the Big Apple. And here she will stay with her big brother Chuckie.
