Arrival Story:
We were grieving the loss of our beloved puppy Sasha. Our friend Kim told us that she had a litter of seven Border Collie/Lab mix puppies, and suggested that we take one. We weren't quite ready at the time, but decided a few weeks later to adopt one of the pups.

Bio:
My husband and I love bluegrass music so we wanted to give our puppy a "bluegrass" name. We named him after Bill Monroe's signature song "Uncle Pen".
