She's still new - she does a great "sit" but nothing fancy!

Arrival Story:
Lily was rescued from a puppy mill along with over 100 other dogs. She had mange, giardia, coccidia, a yeast infection in her ears and was grossly underweight. (If you ever saw the show on Animal Planet called "Miami Animal Police" - the episode titled "Puppy House of Torture" is where she came from...) She was at the animal shelter where we volunteer and she was just so friendly and happy despite her ills, that we took her home! It took a few months, but she's in great shape now!

Bio:
Lily Bancroft is also a Simpsons name... very obscure reference. Lily was the mother of Larry Burns, Mr. Burns' long-lost son (voiced by Rodney Dangerfield). Her nickname Monkey comes from the fact that when she's really excited she has this strange bark that sounds like a monkey!
