Arrival Story:
We wanted a big and small dog. We already had Sable and decided to go to the pound to look for a small dog. I walked right past Holly's cage, not realizing how cute she was because of her terribly matted condition. My partner called me back, and I looked more closely. Hidden by all the hair was just the dog I had been looking for. We told the people at the shelter we wanted to adopt her. They said there she needed to be in the pound three more days till she could be adopted. So we waited. Finally the day when we would take her home came. We got to the pound and discovered there were seven people who wanted to adopt her. The manager told us they would draw straws. We almost gave up, but it was lucky we didn't because they drew our name. Holly was ours! We decided she was meant to be ours, and was where she belonged.

Bio:
The word "prima donna" comes to mind when describing Holly.
