Happy B-day Too ME

Yeah... I had a birthday... The 2oth was my 5th birthday, and now everyone is calling me an old man. I feel kinda sad bout it. I really dont feel old, and I know I don't look old...except for those few gray hairs on my muzzle. Mama says I gotta quit worrying so much cos Im making myself older than I am...whatever that means. Mama got me a new toy...that I didn't really get to play with. Shanti stole it immediately. But her and I did getta play tug'o'war with it, and that was fun! But she had the toy destroyed in less than 24 hours....all well...it was fun while it lasted.

sister 4 sale

I hate my sister. It's true. She takes all the attention, and Mama loves her more than me. I dunno when it happened but it did. I try to be with Mama at all times, but somehow that lil stupid Shanti manages to get to her before I do every time! It's not fair, I was here first! And now its worse, Mama has taken to her to the obedience club every day for the last 5 days. Mama keeps tellin me that its ok, she still loves, and that its just for this week. Somethin about a competion...but I still don't care. I think I might try to get Bailey on my side, cos I know he's mad too, and maybe we can send her away somehow! I guess I'd miss her sometimes..she does play with me a lot, but she still takes up a lot of my Mamas time sometimes. I just dunno what to do. Maybe I'll give it a week, and see if what Mama says is true, and see if things get back to normal. I know Mama always trys to give us equal ammounts of attention... so maybe she did just slip up....this once. Mama did say I would getta go to class with her tomorrow after all....

Windddd

Whatta nice day... the sun was shinin, and people were walking by my yard, so I had someone to bark at. Then the wind came, and I hate that. It's cold!! But most the day was nice.... I really wanted Mama to take me for a walk, but she took Bailey instead. I guess thats ok, cos the wind woulda been too cold and I would had to of wore a sweater...ugh. Mama says I'll have two classes this week to make up for last week. I can't wait!! Then I get a few weeks off for break, untill June. Mama says I'm doin really good, and might even be able to try to do CGC this year. I sure hope so! I don't like bein the only dog in the house not being a CGC dog...

Fun Match

Today Mama entered me in a funmatch.... I did pretty good! It's been almost a whole year since I competed in a funmatch, so it was a lotta fun! I did my stand perfectly, Mama was so proud! I even did my 1 minute sit, and 3 minute down perfectly! Mama said that my heeling was less than desirable, but I still wasn't too bad! At least nothing I did would of dq'd us! Mama says we'll do it again soon! I'm very excited to try again!

School time

I'm now in Competion advanced class....with my friend Tobi! I think it's gonna be a fun class, even though Mama says it'll be a lot of work. As long as I get to see Tobi and Chris, that's all that matters!

The rain has almost stopped, so now I enjoy going outside again! But now Mama doesnt want me too, cos she say it makes me "muddy". I don't see why she cares! All well.... it's still kinda cold anyways!

How far is Arizona?

The weather has turned to rain...which isn't much better than snow to me. Mama says that I gotta go outside even if it is raining. Today she mentioned a nice warm, dry place called Arizona.... she said that I would like it there. I hope I can convince her to take me there, and stay there. I figure I'll shake and shiver and complain even more, and try to make her feel bad that Im sooo cold! I dunno if it'd work, and I'd sure miss my Gramma and Pops...but maybe they'd come with us! I guess another problem would be my class comin up too... I'd hate to miss that. Tobi and Chris will be in it, and I enjoy visiting them a lot. Maybe I will survive untill summer.

Bay is pickin on me tonight cos Mama took me and Shanti with her and Bailey on a walk today... Bay says that we interupted on his alone time with Mama, but I dunno what else we coulda done...its Mama's choice who and when she takes out on walks! Besides, Shanti and I had a blast, and I think Bailey did too, even if he's bein a grump bout it.

Santa was here!

Christmas was lotsa fun, and Santa brought me lotsa cookies too! I was really happy when I woke up and I was still at Mama's house, cos Bailey said Santa was gonna take me and Shanti away to a new home. So now I know Santa really does love me, and Bailey really is a grumpy old dog! I can't wait till next Christmas!

which is worse, rain, or snow??

The snow is almost all gone now, but now it's raining..and its still cold! Instead of pretty white snow, I h ave to go outside in brown mud puddles! And the puddles are almost as deep as the snow was! I really dunno what I hate worse, the snow, or this rain! Mama still is makin me go outside, and I really don't like that. If she'd let me, I'd spend alllll day inside! She said that isn't a good thing for me though.

But Santa is coming in less than a week she says! I am soo excited cos that means I'll get presents, and get to go to Gramma n Pop's to play! It's always fun during Christmas! Even grumpy Bailey has a good time.

Go away snow!

My yard is still filled with icky white snow. Its cold, and it makes me shiver. Mama says that it's not gonna go away any time soon...I hope Mama is wrong! I don't want a white Christmas, I just wanta Christmas that has presents! Bailey says he asked Santa to take Shanti and me away... I hope Santa wouldn't do that! I love livin with Mama and Shanti and even Bailey, even when he's grumpy! I really can't imagine livin somewhere else...unless its with Gramma and Pops! I'd love that, Gramma gives me whatever I want, and Pops lets me lick his plate when he's done... Mama yells at him when she sees it though!

Evil Snow!

Well it's finally happened... we have snow. And lots of it! I forgot how much I hate the snow... my legs just start shakin and my ears feel like ice. Mama makes sure I don't stay out too long, but that means I don't get to go on any walks, and I can't run around in the yard either. With this snow, I just go outside, do my business, and bark at the door so Mama lets me in ASAP! It doesn't look like it's gonna go away any time soon either. I hope I don't freeze....
