Arrival Story:
We found Jake at the local PAWS animal shelter. His previous name was Oscar, and the shelter staff renamed him. His previous owners gave him up because they had to move, and we don't really have any other information about the situation. He was in his cage and as soon as we walked up, he licked my hand. We asked to see him in a private room and almost immediately, he layed down at my feet and put his head on my shoe. It was pretty clear he was going to come home with us that day!

Bio:
He was listed as a German Shepherd mix, and it would be interesting to know what else he is. Jake runs extremely fast, so we're thinking he might be half greyhound. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jake's body is long and lean, his face and ears and eyes are very Shepherd like. He's approximately 2 years old and 46.5 lbs. Very very sweet and loving...feels right at home with our other dog Charlie (a 95 lb. yellow lab).
