Brinda is actually her real name, but we call her Brin for short!

Brin thinks she's a lap dog. She'll hop in your lap (but still keeps her hind legs on the floor). We kind of don't mind :)
A small latex squeaky elephant (she could tear it to shreds, but treats it like a pup)
A huge field at my old high school, right across the street!
tug-of-war (she always wins)
Brin came to us from a coworker of mine, whose dog had given birth to a litter of pups and he had no clue what to do about them. We were happy to take one and give it a great home. We had a sandy male pit bull at the time, so we wanted to get a female for compatibility. My coworker happened to have a female brindle colored pup, which made my dad happy.
However, when it came time to pick up the puppy, there was a little family argument (not dog related), and my dad said, "forget the dog, we're not getting her." To which I said, "You CAN'T forget the dog...I already promised my co-worker! We have to get her!" After a little more coaxing, he changed his mind. The night we got her, we knew we made the right choice! Over the past three years, my dad keeps reminding me, "I can't believe I almost said no to getting her. Thanks for talking me into it!" Haha, no problem, dad!
Brin had an older "brother" named Buster, but he passed away from cancer. She seems to be better now that time has passed, but we miss him! I added a photo of him near the bottom of the page.

About the owner:
My favorite breed is a Pit Bull, but I also really adore Boston Terriers. My boyfriend owns a small NYC dog walker business called Uptown PetCare NYC, so I get to meet and greet all types of dogs!
