Bio:
We put lena to sleep on May 2nd, 2006 She loved to play "Puppy in a Blanket" and was a playmate and protector to all cats, even ones who wandered into our yard. Never did I see her chase a cat. Lena was the only one in her puppy kindergarten class to receive a perfect A+ score. We were so proud. We kept her puppy kindergarten report card in our scrapbook. Not that she was always perfect! She was a fearful dog, and barked like mad when any stranger rang our doorbell. This drove me crazy for years, but I always knew that she was doing it because she wanted to protect us. I forgot to mention that she did tricks - she could sit, down, stay, roll over, and would sit with a treat on her nose. She hated to have baths, but would get in the tub when it was time. I miss her.

In the last entry I said she was having pains for weeks.... We would put her outside in the night, and she would whimper and cry... but not because she wanted in. She had slept out there before, and it was spring meaning the wheather was fair... It was clearly from pain. It didn't sound like "let me in!" or "it's hot" or "its cold". It was a new sound. After a while we knew it was time. That day everyone cryed.

Today Lena got a dogster page. She was put to sleep on May 2nd, 2006, after having pains for weeks. Trixie was born on September 5th, 2006, and until then we where dogless. We only had the cats. Blondie had been living with Gypsy, until her siblings started fighting her out of nowhere. We took her in. Now we have two dogs, but we still miss Lena.
