Arrival Story:
My wife and I were lucky to come across Napoleon. A co-worker of mine needed to find a home for him, as her living conditions were not ideal for such a large dog.
I had been wanting a dog, ANY DOG, since my wife (fiancee at the time) and I bought a house, but she was cautious, as we hope to have children in the next few years.
But we heard about Napoleon and that he had grown up around toddlers, just infants, and that he was very calm, knew his commands well and was an overall sweetheart.
Once he was dropped off with us to meet him, we knew there was no way we'd say no! He was falling asleep with his head in my wife's lap in about a half hour after we met him! We've been obsessed with him ever since!
Bio:
Weighing a lean 82 pounds, our biggest problem with Napoleon is that other people are oftentimes afraid of him, thinking he's a giant baby-eating monster! However, anyone who spends any time with him knows he's a great dog and surprisingly gentle. He never barks, but will cry like a girl when we put him outside. He would make a horrible guard dog and I hope no one ever tries to break into our house or he might make a new friend.
