Arrival Story:
Lilly is the first registered pup we have had. We got her from a breeder in Oklahoma. She and her sister were already 6 months old and the person that promised to buy them never showed up. We were delighted to have her.

Bio:
She was the shyest dog and not that socialized with people. After being scared to death for the first day, she is doing well with our other two dogs and starting to warm up to us humans!

Lilly Has a New Home!

Lilly has joined a new pack at the Steele Family. She came home a day and a half ago from Hickory Ridge Kennels in Oklahoma. Her two new brothers are a 14 year old walker hound named Puppy and a 2 1/2 year old bloodhound named Duke. Both are rescue dogs that look purebred but we aren't sure. She is definitely purebred and just lovely.

She was very shy and afraid the first night, and the first day she crouched around. She was happy to see the other dogs but they weren't quite sure about her at first. She wanted to lick them in the face and they weren't used to that.

Day 2 has arrived and she is already running around, smelling the air, and is much more relaxed. She has her own little pillow and is stealing the toys from the big boys. She has already shown she is smart. She found a dead bird and was prancing around with it. She showed her mom tonight that she can even sit for a treat as a reward!

She already knows what "Let's go outside" means and she showed her new parents that she can bark when she wanted to come back inside! Her personality is definitely starting to come out.

She seems to be adjusting and we think she will be quite the Princess of the household!
